This privacy policy explains what information Volo Outdoor Co ("we", "us") collects when you use the Volo Outdoor Co. app, why we collect it, and how it's protected.

What we collect

• Account details from Google when you sign in: your name, email address, and your Google account ID. We do not see or store your Google password.
• Health data you enter: daily weight, meal logs (amount + food groups), water and exercise check-ins, workout completions, and any free-form notes you write.
• Settings you save: height, age, weight-loss goal, activity level, and your written goal.
• Session cookie: a single secure cookie that keeps you signed in. We don't use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

How we use it

• To operate the app — show you your data, calculate calorie / water targets, and let you log progress.
• To let a coach you've explicitly opted in to see your day-to-day data and assign you workouts.
• We do not sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Sharing with a coach

Coach access is strictly opt-in. Sharing only happens after you toggle "Allow coach to see my data" in Settings. You can turn it off at any time, and access stops immediately.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database (Neon) and served from a serverless function on Vercel. Both providers have their own privacy and security commitments. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and at rest is protected by the provider's encryption.

Your rights

• Access — your data is visible in the app at all times.
• Delete — contact us to delete your account and all associated data; we will remove it within a reasonable period.
• Correct — you can edit or remove any entry directly in the app.

Children

The Volo Outdoor Co. app is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
